Secret Garden

I was invited to have a look at a garden that a couple had dreamt of becoming a luscious green paradise with secret seating areas and exotic plants. Nothing could have prepared me for the mess that greeted me as I walked into the garden. Let's just say the clients enjoyed collecting things.

They couldn't have been sweeter and after many coffees we managed to come up with some caffein fuelled inspiration.

I drew up a plan and was given the ok to get cracking.

I roped in the help of my mountain of a brother and together it took about a month from start to finish.

Always have an ex rugby playing brother on hand when unloading boulders.

I used timber posts to create a screen which gave them their private chill out spot.

Various grasses and herbs will grow out hiding the borders and creating a natural looking lived in garden.

Small but effective seating gives the peace and quiet needed in
busy city life.

We even managed to re-use some of the wonderful collectables!!!!!!
